About this experience

Lewes has been brewing on the same site since the 1790s. The tower brewery still uses gravity to move the beer down through the building, floor by floor, exactly as designed — one of the few in the country where you can watch it happen.

The tour runs from the top of the tower to the cellars, finishing with a guided tasting and time to walk the town afterwards.

    Climb through the brewing floors and follow the beer down, stage by stage.

  3. The cellars

    Into the cool rooms below for conditioning, casking and how it all gets to the pub.

  4. Tasting

    Five-beer guided tasting in the sample room to close.
