About this experience
Twenty-odd acres of vines an hour out of London, run by the family that planted them. The tour walks the rows, explains why this particular slope was chosen, and goes through the winery before the tasting.
It is relaxed, personal and a long way from a conveyor-belt cellar door — you will usually be shown round by someone whose name is on the bottle.
