About this experience

The Beer Mile is brilliant and chaotic in equal measure. A guide turns it into a route — the right arches, in the right order, at the right time, with tastings pre-arranged so your group walks straight in.

Between stops you get the story of how a Victorian viaduct became the densest brewing strip in the country, and why each of these places opened where it did.

Highlights

  • Four to five railway-arch tap rooms along the viaduct
  • Pre-arranged tastings — no queueing with your group
  • Street-food stop built into the route
  • Runs Saturdays, with private weekday departures for groups
